problem with mr heater big maxx

I have a new mhu45 MR heater big maxx, it will not stay firing after the ingiter stops, onyl for about 5 to 10 seconds. Any ideas what might be wrong

I don't own one of these, but have some experience with regular gas furnances. My guess is the flame sensor is disconnected or not being impinged properly by the flames.

Larry hit the nail on the head make sure the flame sensor is 1 in the flame when lit and 2 plugged in .
