Problem with my Ramsond split-air

I know lot of people here using this brand of units.

I'm kind of lost - I can't activate HEAT mode. I click mode but it never goes to this "sun" icon that indicates HEAT. Also, I supposed to have electric heat option (mode)

How do I check that I in fact have that?

Any suggestions? I installed unit in summer and AC was working just fine.

I got reply from their tech. Basically, they tell me to remove battery from remote for 1 minute and then reinstall. Will see if that works
