Problems with board

For the last week or so, I've been having a problem with this board (and no other) "remembering" which posts I have seen, and which I have not.

Normally, if there is a new thread in a category, the "page" to the left of the category title will be RED, and when I go in, new topics/threads will be in a BOLD font.

But for the last week or so, when I come in, it will often show that there are no new threads (no RED of BOLD). Yet when I go into those categories, there are all kinds of new threads that I haven't read.

I've also had a problem with threads that ARE BOLDED, but when I go in to them, it does not take me to the last post I read in that tread, but maybe skips 2 or 3 I haven't read, and takes me to the very last one posted.

Is anyone else having this problem? I visit a half dozen other sites during the day, and am not having this problem anywhere else.

Would still like to see it fixed. I already missed on deal at Sears cause the thread dropped off the bottom of the list AND was un-bolded, so I never read it.

I know we've had this discussion before, but it still drives me nutts. If you start reading the posts and take too long, like looking at a link somebody posts, then go back to the main forum, all the unread posts magically get marked as read and are no longer bold. The bold last unread post icon is also gone, so you have to hit the last post button and scroll back up through the the replies until you see the last one you've already read.
Another petty gripe I have is with the refresh button. On all the other boards I frequent, if you have read several threads then hit the refresh button, only the unread threads stay bold. Doesn't work on this forum.

Most other boards have a new post button, works good too!
