Here's another thing I did when I build something for my garage. I always put the hard plastic- nail on glides under every shelf and cabinet I build that sits on the floor. It makes it easier to level everything up that I build plus it keeps everythoing up off of the floor in case I get water on the floor. Then the wood won't soak up water into the bench legs or the bottom of the shleves I build.
