I don't see anything in the specifications about being hollow shaft. is there a benefit of being hollow shaft?

Seem kinda pricey as well?

They are hollow shaft. I bought a couple of singles since I rarely use nutdrivers, but love the Duratek handles.

Hollow shaft works well for nuts backing smaller machine screws, since they always seem to be an inch or so longer than needed.

Ahhh, okay. I couldn't picture it in my head. Basically a recess in the tool end of the driver. I've seen these before, just had a brain fart I suppose.
