Hey all,
Glad to have you guys!

Going through my deceased brother's garage and trying to get more info on this beast. The label: Proto box 9960. Cannot find a lick of info out there about this cabinet.

In looking on the internet, I find lots of info on other models. Nothing on this one. I'm curious to know when it was built. It's rock solid and has many years left in it.
What puzzles me is a search even here comes up empty.

I can tell you it is made by pressteel and is from the 50's. Pressteel made tool boxes for plomb and craftsman. They made the plomb tool mobile which was this boxes predecessor. I would value the box in its current condition at about $75. It is a good box that should go to a collector!
