Any to get a dip that can put a purple plastic handle on tools? Plasti-Dip doesn't make a purple dippable. Thinking about refinishing some older channel-locks

Funny story, never let any oil sit for a long time on a dipped handle, darn thing destroys the plastic dip and turns it into a gooey mess. not sure why but it had a field day with my pliers.

It's possible to tint plasti-dip. I think people use solid mineral pigments, but I'm not sure. There's a pretty active community o people who do silly things like dip cars, so should be easy to find some information.

There are other brands of ‘plastic dip’, even some made for tool handles but it is supposedly expensive. I’m sure someone can recall the name and manufacturer.

Purple heat shrink is also available.
