Question on epoxy garage floor coating

So, I have H&C Shield-Crete from Sherwin-Williams on my garage floor. There are a couple small spots I need to touch up where the paint has chipped, generally because I dropped something heavy/metal/sharp on the floor and it gouged the paint. It's a two-part epoxy. What's the best way to store it so that I can touch up spots in the future? Mix it all together and store or store separately and mix together as needed?

Store the two part epoxy inside your house separately to keep the shelf life longer.

Good question and good advice. The other thing you are going to want to check is what the ratio is and if that ratio is by volume or weight. This will help to make sure what you use cures properly. One other thing, premix both parts (using different mixer or clean between) before measuring out.

Definitely don't mix together, as that starts the hardening process! Store in cool, dry space the unmixed product.

Another tip is if you have one of those 'canned air' dusters, with the lid on loose, lift it up a tad and spray some in there (its nitrogen and will displace the oxygen) which increases shelf life.
