Questions on Epoxy flooring

Hello, new member here and read through a few threads. Wondering if anyone can give me any pointers and recommend a product or products to epoxy coat my floor. Purchased a new house and the garage floor is poured concrete that is probably 12+ years old. Has typical oil stains, some paint spots, etc.. Definitely needs to be cleaned.

What can I clean/prep this floor with that will insure the epoxy product I finally choose will adhere ? Also, are some of the epoxy products more forgiving as far as cleanliness/prep on the floor surface ? Kind of pressed for time but would rather epoxy coat it if possible than tiles.

I would think that if you were to search on Epoxy Coat and UCoatIt, you would stumble on virtually every product that has been tried by board members.
