1st question
Anyone heard of State Chemical? I have a relative who works there in sales & can probably get me the stuff for cost- or less. They claim they manufacture their own products but she thinks it's probably rebadged from someone else. A search turns up nothing. She says it a high solids, 2 part crosslinked epoxy & has an optional clear. Anyone ever heard of it? Maybe someone knows if it's a rebadged product.
2nd question
This will be for a new concrete slab. I've read conflicting statements about the need to etch or grind new concrete.
What if I have them do a broom finish? Isn't the whole purpose of etching & grinding to give the slab some tooth for epoxy adhesion?
Seems like a broom finish on garage floor would be a good way to proceed. I found nothing on this doing a search.
