QuickJack 8000TLX owners — what has your reliability experience been?

I recently bought a brand-new QuickJack 8000TLX and have had a pretty rough first experience with it. I’m curious how other owners’ units have held up, especially anyone with an 8000TL or 8000TLX.

During my first setup/use, I raised my Silverado and discovered a substantial hydraulic leak at one of the male quick-connect fittings on the power unit. Both fittings had arrived loose, and when I removed the leaking fitting I found the O-ring/seal was physically broken.

Afterward I found BendPak/QuickJack TSB 211-062026, issued in June 2026, which specifically covers the 8000TL/8000TLX and describes an assembly-related issue involving the male ORB quick-connect fittings, including loose fittings and damaged/missing O-rings.

My lift was purchased after that bulletin had already been issued, but I had not received any notice about the TSB before using it.

I replaced the damaged seal and stopped the leak. During subsequent unloaded testing I noticed one frame lowering substantially slower than the other. QuickJack tech support later explained that unloaded bleeding and loaded equalization are different things, and that the pressure-compensation system needs vehicle weight on the lift. They told me to cycle the vehicle about 3–4 inches up and down 5–10 times with load on both frames to equalize it.

At this point I’m deciding whether I’m comfortable continuing with the system, and I’ve also started a return/RMA request.

For those who actually own a QuickJack, especially an 8000TL/8000TLX:

  • Have you had hydraulic leaks at the power-unit quick-connect fittings?
  • Did you inspect or replace the ORB O-rings?
  • Have your two frames stayed synchronized over time?
  • Have you had problems with the pump, hoses, cylinders, fittings, or safety locks?
  • How long have you owned yours, and would you buy it again?
I’m especially interested in long-term owner experiences, both good and bad. I’m not looking to bash the product — I’m trying to figure out whether my experience was an outlier or whether other owners have dealt with similar issues.
