Quickjack vs Vevor vs Bendpak?

I'm looking at a low rise scissor jack.
Vevor has the best price on a 7000 lb lift.
Bendpak is over twice as much with Quikjack right in between.

Does anyone have experience with 2 or all 3 brands?

Vevor appears to handle long wheelbases better without buying extra parts.
They also have 2 different versions of the 7000, one lists a "rekmmote control", but the pictures of both appear the same? Can't figure out the difference, lol.

I can probably spring for the Quickjack, but the Bendpak would likely be out of reach.

Save your money and go with bendpak, they have customer support. You’ll be lucky to get vevor on the phone. I also recommend a flush floor model, it doesn’t take up any space like a two or four post lift does. Also, for a two post lift you have to have the right thickness of concrete to accommodate a lift. A scissor lift can sit on top of the floor, 4 inches is adequate.

I have the OG 5KLB QJ and I like them as I have a standard 2 car garage, they are heavy though and only raise the car about 24" so take that into account if you're maybe larger and need to be on a creeper.

If I had the space/room, I'd do a 2 post over a scissor.

The scissor lifts that are open in the middle are pretty nice. Where I live repair places are installing a flush scissor lift in one repair bay. The flush scissor lift can pick up cars that are low to the ground. I’ve seen many sports cars low to the ground a Two post couldn’t get under.

I have the 7k quickjacks which are way better than jack stands, but I can't say I really like using them. They're heavy as **** and don't lift very high. I don't have room for a bigger/better lift, so it is what it is

I don't have experience with the quick jacks but I can tell you why I didn't choose them. Not enough height for me for changing oil. The point is for me not to get on my back and under the car. What are your repair plans? What is your ceiling height?

I've heard others say the same as Mike, heavy and cumbersome.

I sucked up the expense and raised my ceiling, cut the concrete, bought the 2 post. Should have done it 30 yrs ago but money was tighter then and other responsibilities.

If I couldn't change the ceiling height I would go with a short scissor lift like this style.

Other options are the MaxJax ($) or Triumph C7000 (out of stock).
You'll have to figure out what your budget can really handle.

That’s a nice scissor lift. They do make full lift scissor lifts if you have the hight in your garage.

Vevor brands a huge variety of items. This is like saying to avoid Walmart because you got some bad towels there
Vevor is China’s version of Amazon with zero customer service and no corporate headquarters. There’s a number of law suits against vevor, the attorneys can’t find a corporate office to serve the law suit to. Buyer beware buying anything from vevor.

I have no love for vevor and avoid their products.

But saying to avoid an unrelated product because one guy had a problem is silly

I personally wouldn't buy the Vevor version of a Quickjack, but I bought a Vevor branded anvil- and it's great for the $. Saying that, I'm not sure what else I'd buy from Vevor besides an anvil :ROFLMAO:

A friend has had the Quickjacks for a couple of years and they work fine, but he said they take up a lot of space, are heavy, and a PITA to put in place- none of this should be a surprise. But if you want something other than jackstands and have an 8' ceiling... He had a minor issue with his set the first time he used them and was able to get it fixed by calling or emailing them.

I don't have experience outside the QuickJack, but other than having more height, I've liked them a lot. I just leave them in the middle of the garage bay and pull the car in over them.

This is my experience with Vevor. My friend bought a scissor lift from Vevor, he had me help him set the lift up in his garage. after less than a year of use both cylinders started leaking profusely. He tried for months to get in contact with Vevor with zero results. We eventually took the cylinders off and took them to a place that rebuilds hydraulic cylinders. They took them apart and called my friend two days later telling him the seals are a ******* size and none are available for the cylinders. What made it start leaking was the inside of the cylinders were pitted from really poor machining. They said they could try to hone the cylinders at $1,200 a piece. $2,400 for both cylinders and have custom seals made. In the end he spent more money repairing the Vevor lift than it cost to buy a quality lift from a reputable company.
Buying a cheap Chinese wrench set is one thing, spending thousands on a worthless pile of scrap steel is plain stupid.
Save your money and buy a lift from a reputable company. There’s more than one guy complaining about Vevor on the web. Just my two cents from my experience. To each his own.

I have a Quickjack and have never been happy with it. The hydraulic connectors that came with it leaked. I think Quickjack sent me 5 connectors over several weeks before the leaks went away. They are heavy and difficult to position under a low car. Getting them perfectly parallel is important yet difficult. Lift points never seem to line up correctly. Even on my Jeep Wrangler it was hard to get to the correct lift points. It could be done with a combination of blocks but didn't feel real stable. I bit the bullet and bought a Bendpak 4 post about 6 months after the Quickjack. They've been hanging untouched on the wall ever since.

Avoid anything made by Vevor. I had a bad experience with a milling machine power feed.
HEY! My landscape fabric has been excellent! Stuff that you're trusting with your life (not to collapse on you) is a different story...I'm leery personally of that sort of thing.

I will endorse Quickjack. I have the 7000 pound version, purchased through Costco, and have had no problems with them. Yes, they're heavy, so they stay on the floor and I park the SUV over them when not in use. I haven't had issues, but the company is established and I have no doubt that I could get help from them. Vevor? Questionable quality and too many stories of lack of support.

I'm doing the suspension on the family Volvo this weekend, and decided to get it up in the air this afternoon so I could jump right in tomorrow.

We moved not too long ago, and unfortunately my garage is still a bit of a staging ground, so I can't pull the car in. I haven't had the car up on all 4 corners before (old car, but sorta-new to us) and found jack points and stand placements a bit funky. Added to that is the driveway is pebbles and concrete, so doesn't love rolling jacks.

The net of all that was things got sketchy with regular stands, so I did what I should have done in the first place - rolled the QuickJacks out of the garage and put them under the Volvo outside. No muss, no fuss...

So much easier and more stable than jack stands...

I bought a set of quickjacks because i sold my lift with my last house, and my new lift for the new house was backordered for a very long time due to COVID. I used the quick jacks twice. Never again. They are miserable to setup. Crazy heavy and tedious to drag around and align. The hydraulic hoses, I see people say they leak, and sure mine do a little bit… but my real complaint with them is that they resist being uncoiled with an extremely annoying degree of persistence. Don’t let one get away from you while wrestling it because that big chunky quick release hose end is going through your door skin.

I was looking at both the Quickjacks and the Vevor. The Vevor was about 30# lighter than the Quickjacks.
I bought the Quickjacks and couldn't be happier. I welded ball bearings under the arms to make it super easy to roll arould.
They fit nicely under my Corvette with no problems!

FWIW, BendPak is the parent company of QuickJack:

I've got the 7k Quickjack. I don't share any of the complaints with setup and takedown. It's not a big deal. They're easy to move, and even easier if you add ball bearing wheels underneath.

I will be upgrading to the Triumph C7k, maybe later this year. The QJ has served its purpose.

I bought a vevor 35 gal gas caddy.......long story short, they WILL NOT stand behind their products. It was a factory defect, and I lost well over $500 because of it.
