Hi guys, just picked up a almost new Quincy QT 7.5 80 gal compressor at a steal ,cause its 3 phase. I just swapped the motor over to a single phase 7.5 and was wondering if the 3 phase mag starter can still be used? I'll post a few pics today. Thanks

Need more info on the mag starter. Pics also help. As much info as possible about the motor, voltages, and mag starter really.

Most likely no.

Look on the side or front of the starter for the HP ratings, if nothing is listed you can try googling the part number to get the specs. You'll also need to verify the OL's are correct or can be turned up to the higher amperage you'll need now.
