Quincy QT-54 Air Compressor

I’m looking for a stationary shop, size air compressor for the usual - air tools, painting maybe some sandblasting

Any reason to not like this one?

Define maybe some sandblasting. Which air tools? And how much painting, with which paint gun?

I have some tractors to paint and rust work paint to do on the pick up trucks. Sandblasting probably be in a box not sure.

For pressure pot blasting, like if you want to blast a tractor or truck frame, you'll want something larger; it easily uses 20 CFM. That unit would be ok for cabinet blasting and general shop use.

Pay attention to the pump speed. Then check out the 'better' pumps and see that they are running at 1/2 the speed.

Also recommend Eaton/Polar Air/Emax.

This ^^^^^ Quincy isn't what it use to be. Their industrial compressors are still good but their "homeowner" line, which this is, aren't that good. The Eaton are fine and if you don't want to go that way go with a Champion. I would also recommend 7.5 HP. Buy once cry once.
