I was wondering what peoples opinions are on these compressors, brands and longevity ? I came across this one on a youtube video but cant find one similiar on the US market. It's priced right and has pumps running Independently instead of in tandom like the US imported models.

Zero experience with that model, and honestly you probably won't get much feedback from people who own them.

My personal feedback is that I like the size/form factor. The flow isn't rated at any specific pressure so be careful assuming this thing is making almost 15 cfm at something like 90 psi which would be a typical rating pressure. Also, the max psi is kind of low. Not a deal breaker for everyone, but it does limit you in some ways. Finally, 80 dba is not quiet. You'll be disappointed if you think you're getting a quiet compressor. In my opinion, "quiet" compressors are 70 dba and unde and there's a huge difference between 70 and 80 dba.

I think the motor and pump on all these things are the same made in China stuff. It seems the sound level is just going to match the HP of the motor regardless of brand. This is a 2HP witch seems to be the limit for these compressors. The pumps are not in tandom but have seperate lines going to the tank witch might give it extra boost on the CFM compared to other brands with the same HP. I wouldn't pay over $500 for any of these compressors as there life will be short. But if you want as "quite" as you can get and still have some power this one might be a winner.

Here's a dual motor CAT rated 75 db and a triple rated at 78.

California Air Tools 20 Gal. 4.0 HP Ultra Quiet and Oil-Free Electric Stationary Air Compressor 20040C - The Home Depot https://share.google/6uw8dzYWiGMgc4IQp

California Air Tools 20060CAD Ultra Quiet & Oil-Free, 6 HP 20 Gal. Tank w/Auto Drain, Air Compressor https://share.google/ZC9LvDHNHUMu3ii2t

At these output levels, I think a big bore oiled compressor running at lowish rpm would probably put out more air and less sound per horsepower. The sweet spot for the little oilless compressors is 2HP, 5 CFM, small, light, and quiet. When you start bolting multiple to a receiver, you start compromising on all these fronts.

I think im just going to go with a smaller 1 or 1.5 HP "quite" compressor for the basement and a Quincy big bore oiled compressor for the garage just like you stated. Im replacing 3 older type compressors that rattle my teeth. Can't take it anymore and the wife complained about the noise in basement.
