Race Deck Minimum Tile Width

I am sure you can tell I am new to this forum. I ran across it in search of information of putting down tiles in the garage. It seems to be wealth of information here on flooring and other garage related items. Great find and great forum.

I plan on putting down Race Deck tile in the very near future and need some info to guide me in the installation. My garage is 21' 4.5" wide. If I leave .5" for expansion, then I still have 4" to deal with. I understand I can cut a tile to 4" and place down one side. But can i cut 2" off each side of one tile and put 2" on each side? Or would that 2" width be too small to deal with?

I see there is a 3" border tile as well that has corners. Are there "Inside" corners or just "Outside" corner pieces. To be clear in what I mean, If I had an L shaped area to cover, I would need one "Inside" to make the turn for the bottom part. Or is there another way to handle that?

Welcome to the forum! To answer you questions, Yes you can cut 2" off each side of the garage, but unless you have a very intricate design that you want to be exact, you only need to trim the one side. As for the edging, they come in both a lug and loop. to trim out an inside L shape area you can use these and where the inside corner meets you would need to miter a 45'. We are happy to guide you through this, and we can even sketch you our a diagram
