I am a newbie here but frequent other boards as well. I have a garage that is just shy of 1000'. I live in the North and want something that is going to shed snow and ice. So I have researched everything under the sun. I have decided on Race Deck, with a mix of Free Flow and solid surface tiles (most likely the diamond plate). However, I want to get the best deal that I can. I see the posts about the stuff from Costco, but will it mix in with RaceDeck? will the tabs match up? I see the stuff at Sears, but I have to ask the same question. Then I saw the post where someone got it from a vendor at a National Street Rod event and that surely was the best price shipped.
So can you guys give me a little guidance here? I have a RaceDeck dealer just over the NY border from me and am willing to rent a truck or trailer to go pick it up if its cheaper than shipping costs too.. but I dont want to pay $3.50 a foot either..
I think I can get them down on the price since I need 1000'. But I can also do partial orders from Costco, Sears and such to arrive at a better price too..

Let me hear from you
thanks from a newbie.

You are going to get hit up on shipping costs (~.25 cents per tile) no matter what unless you pick it up from the factory in Utah. The retailers just take orders and then the manufacturer drop ships the tiles to you.

The retailer cost on racedeck is $2.50 not including shipping. So I'd bet you could get it directly for about $3 a foot shipped.

Costco has the moto floor (same as racedeck) for about $2 per foot which is a steal. I say go that route for the best price.

is the moto floor compatible with regular RaceDeck? I could save a few bucks that way.. I need a fair amount of free flow to put under my cars and truck.

This might be too late but I am a reseller and can do $2.90 a sq foot on the RaceDeck plus shipping. Free Flow is cheaper $2.55 per.
