So I almost have my garage walls painted and was getting ready to paint a 5" blue stripe on my white and gray walls to match my soon to be Racedeck flooring. I received my assorted color samples from Racedeck and what I thought was going to be a really cool looking blue ended up looking more like a blue/purple. I know that I can have whoever I decide to purchase the paint from color match it to the racedeck blue, but I just don't care for the shade. Has anyone purchased the actual racedeck panels and had them come out different than the samples? Has anyone used a manufactures blue paint chip on their walls and had it look good even if it didn't quite match the racedeck panel? I used the 3M tape to stripe off the walls and I almost like that color better than the floor color. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
