Racedeck vs. Fab Work

Does anyone who has a race deck / pvc style tiles in their shop weld as well ? I do a bit of fabrication work and run a Miller Mig machine as well as a Tig quite frequently, and of course there is lots of grinding and sparks flying all the time. Will these style tiles burn threw from sparks created while welding / grinding or using an oxy/ace torch ?

Absolutely YES they will burn when you drop slag and sparks will melt holes, not much of a spark either.

I throw a welding blanket down on my Racedeck if the welding is something I can't move outside and that way I minimize the damage. Its a pain to throw the blanket down but its the choice I made to have the Racedeck and I almost always can move out what I am welding on.
