Radiant Heat: Can I do this?

Hey all,

This is my first attempt at ever dealing with radiant heat. I want to run my setup as pictured, with the grundfos pump (the red box with arrow) oriented to pump downwards. Is this okay to do? Every thing I see is with the pump set to pump upwards.

this is the ultimate in stupid questions, but how do I tell which way the pump flows? There is no in/out markings on it!

My Grundfos pumps have an arrow cast into the side of the housing that shows direction of flow.......

Yes, pumping down is fine, I have one of mine that way. What you don't want is the oriented side to side, too much chance of getting an air pocket in the pump chamber, much like an air pocket in a brake caliper.
