Radiant Tube Heater Location Help

Hello,

After waiting and watching a long time I finally found a good deal on a radiant tube style heater (hangs from ceiling). Now I have three questions:

1. I have heard complaints that they can be too hot if you are too close, but I also don't want it to be too far away (if that is possible, given that they are line of sight heaters). Below is a sketch of my garage where I work on my two old cars and do limited woodworking. Any suggestions on which (A, B, or C) would be best, or any additional locations? If absolutely need be I can move the overhead shelving.

2. I plan on tying into the existing house gas line and running flexible copper line up the garage/house wall, above the ceiling (in the attic) and to the heater. Are there any issues I might run into with this? Would it be better to go with black iron pipe on the inside of the garage (leaving it exposed)?

3. I would like to vent the heater out the back wall of the third stall (right/west side). I believe I need "B" vent to do this, correct? Also, does the vent pipe stick out of the wall horizontally or does it need an elbow outside to turn it vertical?

I believe you can run horizontially with the power vent.
I like the location by the doors angled, but realize that the door area will be pretty chilly. You could consider a u tube to cover more of the area that you work in. Put the thermostat where you will work, but out of direct line of the radient heat, and I think you will be comfortable. I have looked at these heaters, but just haven't pulled the trigger. Oh, black pipe is what I ran inside.
