Hello to all, i am trying to install lights in my garage and want and need to use LED.
i want to use a recessed troffer size 1x4 or 18"x4' to fit in between the trusses.
I like the clean flush look.
I am getting ceiling sprayed with sprayfoam. There is an attic but covered with plywood. can the led lights be put into a drywall box with some air around it and be ok? not sure how much air is needed around a light like this?
i am looking for any suggestions that would be in the sub 200 ideally 100 range that would be 4000 lumens or so
Am i better off just getting a flourescent troffer and getting a ballast or driver type swap out and putting in the LED t8 replacements?
i have looked and this has been a tough find. especially knowing if its possible to mount in a ceiling with insulation.
Thanks in advance....
