I just bought a 15 yr old house with an epoxy garage floor in good shape. The only problem is that there are 2 spots on one side of the garage where the water that gets brought in with the car on rainy days seems to stay in small puddles and then the floor is really slippery. While I'd like to cover the floor with some RD tile, I think the first step is to fix the problem which is poor grading. I am going to get some estimates soon but wanted to get an idea from you all whether this is a big job or not and what a reasonable price would be. The floor is 20x24 ft. One guy I already spoke with thought the spots could be filled in to help smooth out the grade or else he could drill a small trench to drain the water, although he hasn't seen the floor yet. Any suggestions or ideas of cost? Also, if anybody knows a good person for the job in Maryland, please let me know. Thanks.
