Removing a S-fuse adapter???

Is there a special tool to remove S-fuse adapters or is pretty much get them out the best way you can,i'm thinking maybe with some needle nose pliers.

I didn't think you could take them out? Doesn't the wire dig in to the larger fuse holder?

Why do you want to remove it? If it's availability of fuses, I would think you could find NOS on ebay if nothing else.
