How do I get rid of this stuff?

My wife, tried to glue back the towel bar holder in our shower using Gorilla Glue, it didn't take, and now I have to clean this mess up, so I can stick it together with Liquid Nails.

Any tips, tricks, or humorous banter are appreciated. :bounce:

Suuuure, the wife did it... :)

She's kind of funny. She likes to 'surprise' me by helping out with things like this around the house, and it usually winds up being a shitload of work for me.

Example:
I drove my Bronco to work one day, left my pickup at the house. I get home, and there's a big damn machine in the bed. I go in and ask her about it. She's rented a stump grinder, to get rid of the stumps from a couple of trees that had died off, she's ready to plant some new flowers and sod. She couldn't get it out of the truck herself, so she had to wait for me to get home. Here's the kicker - it was due at 7:00 the next morning. Guess who spent the whole damn night grinding stumps?

Another time she wanted to help out, she surprised me by putting new briquettes in my gas grill. Problem was, they were standard Kingsford, and after the first time I cooked, I had a lot of ash, and stopped up burner ports. I had to tear that nasty ****** down, blow it out, scrape and scrub out all the ash, a couple of hours to fix.

She means well, and really does try to do the right thing, and sometimes makes a mess in the process. It used to upset me, but after a few years, I've learned to laugh about it.:lol_hitti

Acetone should clean it up. I think it even says that on the bottles.

I've had good experiences with Gorrilla glue.

Acetone should do it . Get as much off with a single edge razor then use the acetone.

Be a man... when you are wrong admit that your wrong. When you are right...shut-up! I don't know who said it. But it works...russ

Let me guess. Her idea of projects are things "we" are going to do, she comes up with the idea or spends the money, and you have to do the work. That's my wife's idea of "we".
