Newbie here. Discovered that part of my garage floor slab has been undermined by the flood from Sandy. It's sinking on one side and needs to be removed, re-filled and replaced. I have to wait for warmer weather anyway, but want to solicit suggestions for the best floor for the $$ as Sandy has been a cash hemorrhage.
This was the first time ever, in 56 years of existence that this area has flooded so I'm not too concerned with regular moisture underneath, but we are on landfill and built on foundation pilings. The new floor will be tied into the apron walls if possible.
Suggestions are greatly appreciated.
