Over the weekend I was in email communication with a older retired gentleman over a vintage paint sprayer, then I emailed back and asked if there were any old tools. I drove out east to a town that was 63 miles east of me, some where in South Central MN south of the Twin Cities in Minnesota.
I gave him cash and insisted he keep the change since it was two dollars over.
He said it was his father's. I only paid a Jackson, Abe and a Hamilton.

1) The hatchet/pliers combo is a Thomas Manufacturing of Dayton, Ohio.
2) Combination pliers with auto wrench is a Mathews Never Stall of Dayton, Ohio
3) Wire Cutters with nail pullers is a Rev-O-Noc. Is the Rev-O-Noc rare?
How much is the Rev-O-Noc worth?
4) Blue Grass Nut Driver - Are these desirable or junk? The store I found these had a bunch of them and another place I have seen Blue Grass combo wrenches in larger sizes.
5) Spayit 46A-NU
6) I cannot find any markings on the brace drill, any idea who made it?
7) Any idea who made the tool tray?
8) Brace drill bit is a Ford Bit Company of Holyoke, MA

Combo hatchet and combo plier/wrench tool are both amazing. I would pick those up in a second.

Rev O Noc is for Conover spelled backwards.

They were under Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett, makers of tools, guns and other outfitter type items.

John Conover was part of the HSB company.

I don't think they were actually makers, they were a hardware store chain. They had various manufacturers stamp their products with the trademarks unique to their store. If I recall correctly, Conover was the buying agent?
