Ridgid 18 volt nailer, decent or junk?

I've been wanting a cordless 18 gauge brad nailer for a while now. I have Milwaukee Fuel cordless tools but have read nothing but bad reviews of their nailer so not going to buy one. But on the home depot site I saw a ridgid cordless nailer for 200 bucks for the nailer only. I do have an 18 volt ridgid drill/driver kit that the wife uses around the house. Bought it one time when I was at a family member's house and ended up doing some work for them so needed a drill and driver. So I do have batteries and charger I can steal for the nailer.

It gets almost 5 stars on the depot site. Only 8 three or lower stars and 9 four stars and 45 five stars. Does anyone have this nailer or know if it's any good? I'd like to pick one up if it's as good as the ratings say. But just hate to waste the money if it isn't any good.

You can get a heck of a brad nailer corded for $50 and never have to worry about a battery. For my use the cord has never been as issue, slightly less convenient during nailing, but I never have to wait for a battery to charge or find the battery is bad.

I hate having to carry an air hose and compressor around if I just need to put a handful of nails in.

We have one at work. Honestly I'm not impressed with it. The depth it sets nails is really inconsistent. I'm tempted to throw it off a balcony more often than not. It only comes off the truck if it's a small job.

We also had the senco cordless and it lasted 6 months before the driving pin broke.

Before both of those we were using paslode gas guns but they have more than their fair share of problems.
