OK. Another not garage thread.
New house. Basement with one wall exposed. I have a bunch of 1/2" foam board insulation that I am going to use up against the concrete walls..two layers thick. However, before I cover up anything that will be hard to get to, I want to do some sealing if needed. The contractor used a foam roll on top of the concrete before setting the walls. Do I need to caulk also?
Also, where the concrete basement floor meets the concrete walls, there is a small crack. Should I silicone that before putting anything over it?
