I recently got my hands on a rockwell 48in belt sander, worked for the first day no real issues. Now the motor wont rotate with the v belt attached and trips the main breaker after 10-15 seconds of trying. It is a rockwell dual voltage reverable 1hp motor. Since the motor runs no issue when it is not under load the running theory is the wiring is not done correctly, I tried testing the connectors but quickly realized I have no idea what I'm doing Attached is a picture of how the wiring is setup. The starter is a furnas cat. number 16CC104408A.
