Rockwell SonicCrafter multitool blades on ebay

These were mentioned in another thread, but I'm not familiar with Rockwell SonicCrafter, but there are three seemingly good deals on ebay for what looks like a clearance of the product. Kits are a dozen or so blades and 40 each of two types of sandpaper for $20 or a bit more than a double for a bit less than $40.

My concern is that current product might be junk, as recent reviews on Amazon were not good.

What do you all think?

Latest Lowes flyer had a page of Rockwell SonicCrafter, but that isn't much of an endorsement, so I hope an actual user of them speaks up.

I posted them on the other thread. I haven't had need to use all of the attachments, but did use the saws on 1/2" plywood with no problems (plunge cuts). A friend is using the sanding pad/paper and hasn't said anything is amiss.
According to their website (scroll down), they should fit the following:
"Compatible Oscillating Multi-Tools: Black+Decker®, Bosch®, Chicago Electric®, Craftsman®, Dremel®, Fein®, Genesis®, Makita®, Mastercraft®, Milwaukee®, Performax®, Porter Cable®, Ryobi®, Skil®, Channellock® and Tool Shop®"

Not affiliated in any way, just picked up the 97 piece set on eBay earlier this fall.

I got a 97 piece set a while back for around $20 also.
These are OK in quality but they use the older connection. The new ones you can loosen the screw and slide them in. These you have to take the screw out to install them.
There is also no offset on the blades like the newer ones have.

I bit on the $40 set, not just double sand paper, but several times as many blades like the plunge cutter I expect to use. Nothing like $40 of blades for my $20 HF multitool. Next I need more Dremel attachments.

these blade doesn't look like the universal fit blades, looks like these are the kits for their older model per-universal fit soniccrafters. Only clue to this is the $3.99 adapter they have that looks like this hex cutouts..... don't remember if if these will fit a Fein. I know the HF and craftman blades fits the Fein.

Yep, you are correct. I had been using the attachments that came with the tool itself (also from eBay) which are the universal. The items that came in the large set are as pictured.

Google hasn't found me any adapter yet that looks like it might work with the old HF multi tool, but not crazy amount different to buy another tool from Rockwell give the blade prices, just a waste of space.

yes, these are the old style. the new style blades are open on one end for the newer rockwells, which allow you to insert a blade without having to unthread the holddown bolt.
