Running Circuit for soon and future 2nd minisplits

Planning an installation for a single minisplit in the near future but want to provide enough electric service to serve a second minisplit in the more distant future. Can I do one larger run to breaker panel with two disconnects, or can a single disconnect service more than one unit? I can do two runs at the same time but I'd prefer not to use up all my remaining open spaces on the breaker panel.

probably run a larger circuit to to cover both units ( and more) and a small sub panel where each unit has separate breaker.
