I sold off all my cordless Ryobi tools to a friend and I am in DeWalt now. I loved the Ryobi cordless One+ multi-tool I had but it went to my friend.
I had to renovate a shed recently and decided to buy an el cheapo multi-tool. I ordered the Ryobi corded multi-tool off Home Depot for store delivery. For some reason it's not sold in the store; they only have cordless ones.
I got a text a few days later saying it was in. It came in a plain brown box with a Ryobi label on it, and it came with a few sanding discs and a few cutting blades as well as an Allen wrench to change the attachments. I already have 20 or so cutting blades left over from when I had the cordless one. The consumables are all universal in size/fit I believe.
It seems like a well made tool. I've used it a lot on this shed project -- cutting out rotten trim and OSB. It worked like a charm. You can really get precise with your cuts unlike if you were using a reciprocal or jigsaw or some other type of saw.
If you're on the fence about needing a multi-tool or if you want to gift someone with one, this unit might be what you are looking for. Looks like it's now $31. I only paid $27 with free ship to store.
