Salt finished patio

Just had a new patio poured and the contractor talked me into doing a salt finish.
I have to say that i am not a fan
What would be involved to going back and doing an epoxy finish on the patio?
I am guessing that it would require either a self leveling concrete or some how a way to fill all the holes left by the salt?

Anything that i will need to do to counter the salt residue?

High performing coatings don't do well in exterior applications.

You want to grout the holes with an acrylic crack paste and coat the area with an acrylic based sealer or deck coating.

Your only decent repair would be cool deck like they use around swimming pools.
