Sam's 41" SS Toolbox, going, going ...

About to be gone! Sam's is clearancing out the 41" model in favor of a 31" model. Other than the width, it is identical. Better start calling around, most of the locations will show 2 or so but not have any at all. They are Item Number 864441. The 41" has been going for $636, the 31" at $550.

I was looking at a display model this monday, had very minor dents and was missing the keys, for $500. Called CSPSMetal on tuesday, they will send you new keys if you fax them your receipt under warranty. Showed up with my van on wednesday, it was gone, sold monday evening after I looked at it.

I was so bummed out the wife said to go ahead and get one, so hopefully tomorrow I'll pick one up.

The identical 41" boxes are starting to pop up at the Costco's around Chicago...

I have seen the same 41" SS boxes at Costco's here in Virginia, too. Take a look around, you can find one without having to buy a scratch-n-dent floor model.

I have heard nothing but good about that box, never seen one but heard of a few guys that got them and they seem happy. 700$ vs 7k for some others,, hmmmm worth a look anyway.

just bought one of these at Sam's in Toledo,Oh...$564.00...not professional quality, like a snap-on or even top grade craftsman, but it competes well with the 40" series of craftsman and other brands. I'm not real hard on a toolbox so for me this is fine, cant beat it for the price, a comparable box from sears is about $400 more.
