Sandpaper storage

Wanted to share this.
A few years ago I got a 31 day expanding file for organizing and storing sandpaper. Labelled all the tabs for grit sizes. There are about 28 common grit sizes so you have extra slots for a few sanding blocks, sponges and Scotch Brite pads. Stores easily on a shelf and easy to transport. No more hunting for sandpaper!

I use a plastic one of those for my 6" hook and loop sanding discs.

For sheet sandpaper, I use an old Brumber "paper safe". It's actually designed to store sheets of photographic paper, but I don't need it for that.

Same here. The accordion files help keep the sheets from curling and make it easier to find the grit I need. It also makes it easy to see which ones I need to restock.

That is a good idea.

I made a wooden (actually particleboard) rack with slots for the wall in my shop, but that took a while. The accordion folder seems like a great thought for the garage and for anywhere I may have to bring sandpaper. Also it would work for sandpaper discs of different grits.
