Ok, so today I picked up a pair of Channellock 927 snap ring pliers and they have a 2015 Snap-On date code stamped in. Why? Does snap on make Channellock's on vise versa? Just curios, Thanks!

Nope... I can see on the Amazon website when you zoom in a symbol, but it's not even close to the 2015 date code. Maybe pictures of what your seeing?

Imperial makes Snap ring pliers for a multitude of brands, Including some of the Snap On Models. I'm not sure if Imperial dips into the channelock market or not, A Picture would definitely clarify whether it's a snap on date code or a poorly marked safety glass stamp.
