I got this product at the local concrete supply house, seem's to work pretty good.
It is a 2 part epoxy and does not get rock hard.

Mix it it up, pour it on then scrape off the excess after it sets up. Hopefully my Epoxy-Coat will show up next week and I will be ready to finish out the floor so I can start moving in

I didn't pre-fill my saw cuts; when the epoxy resin was poured (2 coats), it filled the cuts to within about 1/8" of the normal surface; if I do get any cracks in the cuts, it won't be visible on the normal floor surface (none after six years).

I didn't fill my saw cuts either. All concrete cracks and typically moves to some degree after it's been down. Strike joints or saw cuts are just how we control where the floor will crack (assuming we're lucky). It seems to me that no matter what you put in the cut if the floor moves (however minutely) that the painted crack would look worse than the saw cut. At least this was my logic. Now if I had a large crack or broken section I'm sure I would have looked at this differently.

Because the floor sweeps much easier and it eliminates the dust that comes from exposed concrete. And nothing you mention above is forbidden on a "painted" floor.

And painted floors DO NOT absorb oils or stains.

They reflect more light.

MUCH easier to sweep and wash.

Looks better.

I wish I had known about that crack filler, I would have done it. Now I filled cracks with a grey caulk. Otherwise the cracks just fill up with dust and dirt.

You're going to love that Epoxy-Coat. Just do a good job of spreading the flakes and get extra! They'll make your floor tougher!

Reflexx-I went without the flakes, I just wanted a solid color on the floor.

This stuff is going to take a few days for me to scrape down even with the floor, It's been so danged hot here I can't work in the shop to long without just dripping with sweat. Place is like an oven, hope it gets more comfortable when I insulate.
