sorry, Basically its used by a lot of people in the construction industry. It has basically every scale ever used in civil, architectural or construction blue prints. You set the scale by pressing the buttons on it, and then roll the wheel on the end along the line that you want the measurement of, and it tells you. Basically it gets rid of the need for multiple triangle scales.
It also has a count clicker so you can count up the # of something such as outlets by just pressing the button.
I guess I didn't put the info cause i figured anyone who would want it would already know what it is but I know there are tool/gadget junkies on here that would buy something for the cool factor so I should have posted that.
