Scott's Muscle Car Shop (UPDATED WITH CAR PHOTOS)

Hi, I'm new here. I've done alot of reading on here. I got a great deal of ideas from you guys. Here's my new shop, it is 26 X 36, 9 foot walls, front half of the shop has a 9 foot ceiling and the back half has an 11 foot ceiling. 8' X 16' insulated overhead door and 32 inch outswing service door. The concrete is 6 inches thick with 12 inches of stone. Alot of flourescent T8 lights on the ceiling and in the walls. I just finished the epoxy floor 2 days ago. A 4 post lift is next. I started the build, the Monday before Memorial day and this is where I have gotten so far. Here's some pictures, enjoy.....

Scott

Thanks for the compliments! The floor is troweled terrazzo epoxy and broadcast with quartz aggregate. It is a very labor intensive process, it took a total of 4 days to do, with 3 guys per 8-10 hour day. My father headed the project, he did tile and terrazzo for the last 25 years before he retired.

It is looking real nice scott67chevelle. This is a great size for a shop, but I may be biased.

You have a couple of cool toys in that garage.

Thanks, I've owned the Chevelle since 1988. My father and I finished the body off frame restoration in 1991. The car is holding up really well, considering the paint is 20 years old, you would think the paint is no more than 5 years old. When the car is not driven, it is always covered and indoors. The car has not seen rain or been washed in 8 years. The Cougar and Firebird are my girlfriends cars. The Cougar is a Dan Gurnee Special, a super clean California car. I painted that car 10 years ago.
