Scroll saw stand

Picked up one of the generic HF tool stands and modified it for my scroll saw.....it was a bit wide for the application.

I cut its width by about five inches:

Final product....I added some adjustable feet to finish it off:

Nicely done, but I think if you used a task specific stand, you would have spent a lot less time and very little more money :confused:

I'd love to get the specific stands....but that HF is a $23 box of parts you can bastardize into whatever you want :)

Here is a wooden stand designed to accomodate older 24" Delta and Beaver, etc. scroll saws. Might give you a few more ideas. This is from an earlier Workbench magazine article.

My wife wants me to build one for her scroll saw. It's funny, she has the most expensive tool in my garage.
