Sealer or Densifier under PVC Tiles?

I've been lurking for a while, reading and debating how to proceed on my garage floor.

I have finally decided to put down some interlocking PVC tiles in the garage. The floor is a year and a half old with no serious stains, just tire marks, color changes where water from the car dries, etc. A few hairline cracks (no control joints) and a couple of spots where a small (dime-sized) amount of material from the top of the concrete has chipped off.

Should I do any treatment (sealer, densifier) to the concrete before I put down the Supratile PVC tiles? I wonder what will happen if water or automotive fluids get under the interlocking tiles and sits there for a while. On the other hand, will a sealer even help if something got under the tiles and sat there for years? Would a densifier help the concrete, or is it moot under the 4.5mm PVC tiles?

I see the data sheet for Silax-Seal says, "This product is not suitable for use with any other sealer or epoxy." If one wanted to use an epoxy or other sealer in the future, what prep would be required/possible to prepare the surface?

TL39, HD39, B4 all good products for that application -- assuming concrete has never been sealed. It is an outstanding idea

Grind it. This is the best medicine for prep regardless.

While we would live to sell sealer for use under our Supratiles, in many thousands of happy installs, we haven't had reports of moisture issues under the tiles. We use them in lots of firehouse applications (www.armor-tuff.com) which get tons of water on them with no issues.
