Ok, I need some product advice. I have a couple of walls that I want to seal to the floor. I would like this seal to block standing water if possible.
Basically I have frp over a green drywall and 2x4 wall, with a plain concrete floor. The "wet" side has a floor drain and is going to be a work area subject to splashing water, mopping, etc. I might put down that rubber mat with the holes in it, but otherwise have no plans for the plain concrete.
The other side of the wall is going to have laminate flooring that will not react well to even a little seepage.
The easiest thing seems to be something that I can get in a tube like caulk and run a thick bead right at the joint between the concrete and the wall. I have concerns about silicone bonding to the concrete and the frp for that matter, so I am looking for something better.
