Sears and Roebuck 914-500 jack.

My neighbor recently moved and gave me an old bumper jack. I have looked all over the internet and cannot seem to find any information about it. Any information like pictures and maybe what year it was made would be much appreciated. It is missing the handle and is out of hydraulic oil. All it would need is the tank seal and some oil.I know it will work. Oh ya and a handle.

First, welcome to the group.
Second, please post some pictures. There are a lot of hydraulic jack experts here that can help you with some more information.

I've bought & sold a few jacks. They're not hard to work on. If I had your problem, I'd first get some hydraulic oil in it. Then pump it up and down several times until the trapped air is out of the system. Then find the leaks and repair them. Sometimes you can make the seal, other times you will need to rebuild the unit if you can find who manufactured your jack, you should find a seal kit.

I recently acquired two of the hydraulic bumper jacks. One model 914-500 and another 914-11700. Does anyone no where to get the handles?
