i'm looking for a throatless shear not looking to break the bank. should i just go with an eastwood or ?

I have the Woodward Fab version.

Eh, it's ok for short cuts, but it pulls off the line for anything long (the whole point of throatless).

If I had it to do over, I'd save up and buy a real one.

i was looking at the 8" woodward also, i want it for making patch pieces on body panels. so there wont be long straight cuts used on it.

A guy gave me the harbor freight version. I had to do some tuning but it works pretty good now. If you go that way send me a message and i will show you the mods i made to it
