Shed attic, heat/insulation?

What can I do limit heat into the upper level/attic of a gambrel roof shed? I was thinking maybe radiant barrier, that foil faced stuff. No ridge vent, there are gable vents when I got the palce that were small but I added some larger vents when I put my compressor up there, one directly behind the after cooler. I was thinking radiant barrier either stapled directly to roof sheathing or to joints leaving a gap. We see the full range of temps here in mid-atlantic region. Currently 95* at lower level of shed (R19 insulation for ceiling) and 110* up top, was more like 130* up top at peak heat. Worried to use my compressor much on days like these. How can I reduce temp up top without creating moisture or condensation issues?

An aluminum ridge vent is pretty easy to install. Just cut 3" slot wide in the shingles cap and nail it on, caulking the nail tops. Otherwise put in a tempature controlled fan. A radiant barrier with no insulation and no a/c is likely worthless. In my garage I run a dehumidifier so my machine tools won't rust.

I'd probably cut in a Ridge vent.

A radiant barrier may help reduce heat gain. I have a radiant sheathing in one of my sheds and it feels like it helps.
