1) Please tell us you had insurance.
2) Start writing down everything that was in there. You have a long journey ahead of you and remember if you paid for insurance they owe you everything you signed up for. I helped mom with 2 fires that were both complete losses.

I hate when that happens. BT, DT, about 20 years ago.

I had no insurance on the building, but the stuff inside was covered as "personal property".

Like Shurkey said-it may fall under personal property. That's what happened with mom's barn. We got close to $60k all under personal property. I would have gotten more but had nowhere to store all the smalls and not much use for the smalls anymore.
