My wife knows i like old tools, so one day she she and the “girls” were out hitting antique stores and found this. I don’t really have a use for it, but i appreciate that somebody like me took the time to make it, so i can’t just toss it.
Judging by the grain, it’s red oak, with an oil finish. Pivots look like bolts hammered down. I like how he profiled the end of the blade, and tapered the recess so it doesn’t go all the way through. And the body is one piece, not laminated.
