Our 10" bench grinder at work wont turn off so i removed the switch to check out and it's bad. The present switch has the power and neutral running thrue it (both switched off and on) my coworker say's they cant be wired that way because the motor wont be grounded i showed him the ground wire attached to the motor case and the base so i pulled the switch out of the other grinder in the shop it's wired the same way. His brother is an electrical engineer and say's having it wired that way could cause electrouction if there is a problem with the motor! Has any one else heard of this both grinder's are 110 volt. I didnt get mdl #'s of them i can if needed there older heavy duty model's
Thank's in advance
