Sorry fellas... We have about two more weeks before the hardware upgrade. After that, it should be greased lightening.

Gosh I hope it's soon. I've waited over 20 seconds for a page to load tonight. I'd gladly donate money to make this site a little faster if possible. It's almost unbearable during high loads.

I made a post earlier today and by the time it had loaded it said I was trying to make a duplicate post?!? What ever. It did the post after about 1 minute.

I remember when I used to have to go to the library or meet people for research. The WWW is making us stupid, we are starting to complain about such silly things.

When you have a thriving community of people willing to chip in to make the site faster, it just seems crazy to wait upwards of 30 seconds for the site to respond to a click.

In 2001, a study found that people were willing to wait up to 8 seconds. The most recent study, conducted by Forrester Consulting, suggests that two seconds is the new threshold in terms of an average online shoppers expectation for a Web page to load, while 40 percent of shoppers will wait no more than three seconds before abandoning a retail or travel site.

I guess that makes us "stupid" in your eyes, because you're used to the dewey decimal system.

In my eyes, it's stupid to throw your user-community under the bus because you don't want to throw a bigger processor in the server.

Well, all I can say is PLEASE, DO SOMETHING!

yesterday it was great, clipping right along....today it ***** huge monkey balls.....

I don't know how many seconds I'm waiting, it seems more like minutes - lot's of them - but it really takes all the enjoyment out of a forum when you can't open threads and your posts won't load.

The HAMB is completely down right now too.....

Only getting started... If you like the new speed levels, thank your local Alliance member. They are paying for it.

I've never had a problem, other than today, when Attached Thumbnails aren't showing up.

Same here!

It is very fast now, I never realized is was slow until this upgrade! WOW, this is great.

I do thank all the Alliance members. Ryan, when I clicked on the Alliance banner up above...it sent me to an error 404 page.

Has anyone had a problem uploading pics? I've tried a number of times and no dice....

Haven't tried posting new attachments but no problems posting an img from a photo host (imageshack). My old attachments are all still in place.
